Osiris Preamp Build Log: Part II: Assembly

It took a little while longer to get around to posting part II of the Osiris Preamp build log and I didn’t take anywhere near as many photos as I intended as the build was somewhat rushed so this will just be a short collection of photographs.

I still have to wire up the bright & gate toggles and the channel indicator LED. So I will post up some more detailed close up photos after that is done along with a demonstration video/soundlclip.

First up we have the fully populated board. The majority of the silkscreen values on this are wrong as I tweaked it so much in the prototype chassis.
And a close up of the front panel with the majority of the parts populated.
In this one we have everything wired up minus the toggles and transformer primary + fuse.
And finally this one was the initial power testing to check voltages were all correct.

Hopefully I should be able to get back to this in a couple of weeks and get it finished provided I can find somewhere with LND150 in stock so I can do the dual effects loops.
